What makes us different?

Proof of data and workflow events can be generated in the form of an evidence based report called a Proof Certificate. These reports can be generated at the press of a button from the client’s administrative dashboard and can be taken to court to support data-based claims or presented as part of a compliance or audit exercise.

Clients can build bespoke API’s and workflow modules using freely available SDK’s and proprietary drag and drop tooling accessible from the client administrative dashboard. These can be used by the client themselves and also listed in the Proof Module Marketplace – the first and only marketplace in the world providing access to ready-made data proof and verification workflows.

Evident Proof has developed an advanced proprietary protocol for the submission, storage, and retrieval of digital data evidence – entitled the Evident Proof Digital Data Event Evidence Submission protocol – currently on version 1.02 and often abbreviated to EPDDEES.

Evident Proof customers are able to generate reports at the click of a button which audit all data evidence and proof seal bundles stored immutably on their Evident Proof account. This varies from a regular Proof Certificate in that it is used to verify what data is stored on the platform rather than providing proof of its immutability.

Evident Proof’s court-ready evidence reports, otherwise known as Proof Certificates, provide every data point required to validate that data evidence was stored immutably. To expedite the process of proving that these data points equate to proof of immutably stored data, Evident Proof has developed a Manual Proof Tool which can ingest a Proof Certificate and utilize the data on it to demonstrate the proof of immutability, by directly interrogating the publicly available (and publicly verifiable) blockchain transaction, reverse engineering the contained data back through the cryptographic process to the source data. This tool is open-source such that anyone can verify the process the tool follows and independently verify the Proof Certificates claims without intervention from the Evident Proof team.

Evident Proof have developed a full, secure and easy-to-use web-based suite of tools for platform managers and administrators to manage, amongst other things; evidence, proof certificate, proof seal bundles, users, API keys. This web-based suite is secured by two-factor authentication and can host as many administrative users as a customer requires.

Evident Proof has developed an ecosystem of distributor and resellers equipped to transact and provide platform access and services to new and existing customers.

The entire Evident Proof ecosystem was design, architected, developed and tested by world-class engineers, having successfully designed and developed platforms for multi-national corporations such as 3M, Microsoft and Mazars. The experience this team brings means the platform is truly scalable, secure, robust and extensible.

The Evident Proof platform ecosystem has undergone due diligence by the worlds second largest law firm, to the same level as a company due to become IPO listed. This due diligence includes independent verification of all documentation and claims.

The Evident Proof platform has been documented in a peer-reviewed whitepaper written and published by a well regarded University professor. The whitepaper details, to an academic level, the techniques used to immutably store data and generate proof certificates.

Every element of the Evident Proof ecosystem has been designed from the ground up, ensuring the platform and underlying protocols are the companies proprietary intellectual property.

Evident Proof recognises that the uptake of Evident Proof relies, at least partially, on the ease at which developers can integrate databases and workflows. For this reason, Evident Proof have made available a range of connectivity tools such as well documented open source API’s, a NuGet package, as well as NPM, VS Code and Visual Studio plugins, SDK’s and database tools. In addition, open code samples are available online to help less experienced developers get started.

Evident Proof have made available easy-to-use drag and drop tooling to allow customers to design and develop their own proof seal bundles from the ground up. These allow clients to map their data schemas and workflows onto contextually aware bundles of data to make storage and reporting more intuitive.

The code used in the blockchain implementations within the Evident Proof platform have been reviewed and audited by a well-regarded industry leading independent third party. This audit includes a hash of the code which allows interested parties to verify the audited code matches the production code used today.
